Job summary
Accenture Federal Services seeks a SAP Data Migration Lead to steer end-to-end data migration for an SAP Employee Central Payroll modernization initiative. You will drive data quality, profiling, and conversion strategy across multiple workstreams, coordinating with functional teams and the client to ensure a successful go-live.
The role requires extensive SAP data conversion, ETL tooling proficiency (LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS), and leadership of a migration team in a federal program
Qualifications
- 7+ years of SAP experience
- 2+ years of SAP data conversion across SAP ECC, IBP, and/or SRM environments
- Hands-on experience with data migration tools and methodologies (LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit/LTMC, BODS)
- Experience performing data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation in SAP conversion projects
- Strong Excel/data analysis skills for large-scale data mapping and validation
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data migration for SAP Employee Central Payroll modernization
- Drive data quality, profiling, cleansing, and remediation across legacy sources
- Define data conversion rules, mapping logic, and business rules for EC Payroll
- Write technical specs for extraction, transformation, validation, and load
- Develop cutover plans, downtime windows, and go-live readiness criteria
- Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and client data owners
- Mentor junior data conversion analysts and manage the migration team
- Report migration status, risks, and governance artifacts to leadership
