Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services is seeking a Sample and Logistics Technician III - Team Lead to manage end-to-end sample receipt, registration, chain-of-custody, tracking and storage. The role leads intake, inventory control, and distribution of large compound libraries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will oversee complex sample preparation, lab calculations, packaging, and shipment activities while coordinating with internal teams to meet study timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or BA/BS with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a contract research organization or laboratory environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end receipt, registration, chain-of-custody, tracking, storage and disposition of samples and materials.
• Lead intake, inventory control, and distribution of large or complex sample libraries.
• Perform complex sample preparation and ensure accuracy in calculations and labeling.
• Oversee shipping and logistics, including domestic and international shipments and required documentation.
• Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams; drive quality, timelines and delivery.
• Develop reports, metrics, and SOPs; support audit readiness and data integrity.
• Provide day-to-day team leadership and coaching, with a focus on continuous improvement.
