Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Lead Salesforce Engineer to drive end-to-end platform features with AI-native workflows. You will own the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce integrations and related backend services, leveraging tools like Cursor and Claude Code while ensuring code quality and security.

You will work across Salesforce and MuleSoft, building scalable architectures and automated processes that reduce manual work and boost revenue operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and backend design.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end - UI, APIs, data models, and integrations.
• Develop frontend experiences and robust backend services with solid OO design.
• Use AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC with governance and code quality checks.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Develop on Salesforce with LWC, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows; ramp quickly if new to the platform.
• Explore AI-powered features that automate processes with governance and human-in-the-loop checks.
• Own features through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
