Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Lead Salesforce Engineer who combines architectural intuition with AI-native workflows across the entire stack. You will own Salesforce and MuleSoft integrations, building scalable end-to-end features and driving revenue processes with smart automations.

You will mentor engineers, apply AI-assisted coding tools, contribute to CI/CD, and ensure security and reliability across the stack while delivering measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and backend development (OOP, REST, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, security, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end — UI, APIs, business logic, data models, and integrations.
• Build modern frontend experiences and robust backend services and APIs using solid design principles.
• Use AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and code review.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Develop on Salesforce using LWC, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows and Salesforce security model.
• Explore and build AI-powered features with governance and human-in-the-loop checks.
• Own features through the full lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
