Job summary

Hometown is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to own our Salesforce stack end to end. You will be the technical owner of the platform powering our go-to-market for ticketing, fundraising, and websites.

You will directly implement changes, collaborate with Sales, CS, Marketing, and Finance, and expand the org to support multi‑product strategies across schools and districts. Strong ownership and hands-on skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience with production ownership.
• Experience across multiple Salesforce orgs and inheritance scenarios.
• Deep declarative expertise: Flows, validation, formulas, approvals, sharing.
• Able to read and reason about Apex/Lightning code and collaborate with developers.
• Strong English communication with US-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce instance: declarative config, permission sets, profiles, layouts.
• Maintain automations, document existing setup, retire redundancies, reduce debt.
• Identify and fix friction; ship improvements to data quality and usability.
• Design data model, catalog, and pipeline for multi-product GTM in Salesforce.
• Manage integrated stack with Snowflake, Gong, and billing systems.
• Build reports, dashboards, and forecasting views for leadership and CS teams.
• Gather requirements autonomously from Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, and leadership.
