Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to operate the IBM cash register.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety, and loss prevention policies.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions.
• Greet customers and provide superior service.
• Assist in opening/closing the store under supervision.
