Qualifications

• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Familiarity with plan‑o‑gram compliance and merchandise presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Willingness to greet customers and support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures and prep for stocking.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes; stock and rotate merchandise.
• Assist in plan‑o‑gram implementation and maintain displays.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, bag merchandise and give change.
• Greet customers, locate items, and provide excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of front end, stockrooms, and restrooms.
• In manager’s absence, collaborate on refunds, cash handling, and paperwork.
