Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations and lead in the absence of the Store Manager. You will unload trucks, stock and face merchandise, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, organized, and secure shopping environment.

Experience with cash handling, plan-o-grams, and customer service is preferred. This is a full-time, in-store role offering opportunity to lead and protect company assets while maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to the store's prescribed process.
• Stock merchandise and build merchandise displays.
• Rotate and face merchandise on shelves and stock displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and total purchases.
