Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer for its Mobility Group, based at the Southfield, MI facility with a hybrid schedule. The role supports key customer accounts and drives day-to-day relationships between Power Connections and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within a 50-mile radius of the work location (Southfield, MI) will be considered. Active-Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

Responsibilities

• Learn Power Connections products, capabilities and value add options.
• Work as a member of the OEM DRE team to support product and platform launch execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels in the customer base to be strategic for Eaton.
• Serve as the initial Power Connections face to customer located onsite at OEM office.
• Assist Program / Platform teams in defining requirements, design evaluations, and validation.
• Manage Sample Orders, Tracking, and Delivery.
• Coordinate all required project steps with the Eaton cross functional team members.
• Monitor customer project timing and milestones, identifying gaps and elevating them to leadership.
