Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Oak Brook is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while promoting Tempur-Pedic and Sealy products.

You may act as a member of management when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening/closing and other duties. The role requires 1–3 years of retail experience selling luxury or premium products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years' retail experience with high-end luxury and/or premium products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the store's overall performance.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and brand standards.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at a high level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems.
• Assist with merchandising and implementing company programs.
• Handle routine issues and escalate major ones to the Store Manager.
