Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some supervisory experience, plus strong communication, math, and cash handling skills. On-site work with daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and presentation guides.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate, and build merchandise displays according to planograms.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform additional duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
