Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Altoona, PA, to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. The role supports customers, operates the register, stocks and displays merchandise, and can act in a lead capacity when the Store Manager is unavailable.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent and some supervisory experience; physical tasks include lifting, stocking, and driving to deposits as needed. The role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and handle payments.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors and maintain restrooms.
• Assist with planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
