Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Doraville, GA to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock shelves, clean the store, and support the Store Manager in opening/closing duties.

You will lead by example, handling cashier tasks, stocking, and merchandising while ensuring profitability and asset protection. This role may involve duties of a Sales Associate and leadership in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cashier and process payments; assist customers with merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock, rotate, and build displays; follow planograms.
• Clean the store; manage trash, cleaning, and upkeep of restrooms and storeroom.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
