Job summary
Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Safety Risk Measurement & Insights Lead to own how safety risk is defined, measured, and interpreted across the organization.
You will govern metrics, ensure data quality, and translate insights into actions for executives, with a focus on AI-enabled workflows and scalable analytics. The role sits at the intersection of Analytics, Operations, and cross-functional partners to unify definitions, improve reporting, and scale measurement efforts across all US
Qualifications
- Strong analytical foundation and the ability to translate data into insights.
- Ability to partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Operations.
- Experience turning complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
- Curiosity and practical use of AI or automated analytics tools.
- Ability to communicate and influence across senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Drive governance for Safety metrics, ensuring definitional consistency and auditability.
- Own data quality and measurement integrity across safety data pipelines.
- Lead deep-dive analyses to identify risks, trends, and action steps for leadership.
- Define AI-enabled analytics and scalable workflows to accelerate insight generation.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enable faster, data-driven decisions.
- Support executive reporting with robust methodology and a clear framework.
