Job summary

Uber is seeking an experienced Product Manager for its Safety team to drive the roadmap of safety experiences for riders, drivers, and couriers. You will partner with data science, ops, UX, and regional teams to launch trusted tools and policies at scale.

You'll turn ambiguous problems into clear plans, define OKRs, and own cross-functional delivery across engineering and product design. A strong technical background and user-centric approach are essential in this high-impact role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PM experience delivering large-scale projects quarterly.
• Experience with data-driven optimization and complex algorithms.
• Ability to convert unstructured problems with ambiguity into focused plans for multi-team projects.
• Strong technical depth coordinating large engineering efforts.
• Experience defining OKRs and roadmaps for complex programs.
• Experience presenting to executives and other stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build safety-focused models, tools, and user products.
• Internalize Uber’s mission and safety strategy within the company roadmap.
• Solicit feedback and drive data-informed product direction.
• Identify opportunities leveraging Uber’s scale to create customer value.
• Communicate plans, insights, data, and results to executives and teams.
• Partner with Data Science, UX Research, and Operations teams for insights.
• Distill vision and drive prioritization across the team.
