Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Plymouth, MN site seeks a Principal Safety Engineer (Level 3) to lead facility safety programs and drive hazard identification and risk reduction. You will partner with engineering and manufacturing to integrate safety into development and operations, including handling explosives and high-risk processes.

Ideal candidates have STEM degrees with related safety experience, plus the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Must have strong multitasking, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be well-organized, work effectively with little supervision, and pay attention to detail.
• Must have strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and hazard analysis for the facility and processes.
