Job summary

Emtech, LLC is seeking a Senior / Lead Robotics Hardware Technician / Support Engineer to define the system-level hardware architecture for major product lines and drive projects from concept to production. You will mentor the hardware team and establish standards for reliability and validation.

Qualifications

Experience in robotics hardware design and systems architecture.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to travel 10% and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Define and own hardware architecture for complete robots or major product lines (actuators, sensors, power, safety, interfaces).
Lead multi-phase hardware projects from concept to production, owning the entire project lifecycle.
Set technical direction, schedules, and milestones while coordinating across mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams.
Champion Agile methodologies and utilize software tools to streamline lab and engineering operations.
Define and oversee advanced analyses, including FEA, tolerance stackups, and reliability modeling.
