Job summary

Mullins Mechanical & Welding, Llc is seeking a Field Engineer Robotic Surveyor with plumbing and pipe experience to join our team on construction sites. The role focuses on coordinating layout, calibrating total station instruments, and delivering precise survey data for ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating total station equipment, collecting horizontal and vertical measurements, and working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience operating a Trimble/Total Station.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout, 3D scanning points, and setbacks for plumbing and HVAC projects.
• Assemble and calibrate the total station instrument for accurate measurements.
• Operate the total station to measure distances, angles, and elevations on construction sites.
• Collect and verify survey data and coordinates.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate the total station instrument.
• Prepare reports and logs of measurements and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project objectives.
