Job summary

Mullins Mechanical & Welding, LLC on site in Pumpkin, TX seeks a Survey Manager with Trimble experience and a strong Total Station background. The role requires operating and calibrating total station instruments, coordinating layouts, and ensuring accurate data collection on diverse construction sites.

Responsibilities include data transfer to software, report preparation, and collaboration with engineers and project managers to meet project goals. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Trimble / Total Station Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and other project documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout, physical coordination, building corners and setbacks of plumbing and HVAC points, equipment points, sleeves, inserts, and 3D scanning projects.
• Assemble and set up the total station instrument with proper calibration and alignment.
• Operate the total station to measure distances, angles, and elevations on construction sites.
• Collect survey data including horizontal and vertical measurements and coordinates.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the total station instrument.
• Verify survey data for errors during construction phases.
• Transfer and process survey data into relevant software or databases.
• Prepare reports including measurement logs and equipment maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to align construction activities.
