Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer / Project Manager to join our Tampa, FL team. Lead roadway design projects from concept through PS&E, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules/budgets, and drive growth with FDOT and local clients.

The ideal candidate has FDOT experience, 10+ years’ highway design, PE in Florida, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer. Excellent client communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida required.
10+ years of progressive roadway/highway design experience including PS&E packages.
FDOT roadway design experience and familiarity with FDOT design standards and plans preparation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer; familiarity with FDOT CADD standards.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager and/or Roadway Design Lead for local agency transportation projects and FDOT.
Manage roadway design projects from concept through final PS&E delivery.
Lead development of roadway plans, specifications, quantities, estimates, and design documentation.
Coordinate with drainage, structures, traffic, utilities, and other disciplines.
Mentor junior engineers and supervise design staff.
Maintain strong client relationships and pursue FDOT/local government opportunities.
