Job summary

Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm based in California, is seeking a roadway design engineer to join our Transportation Department in Denver, CO. You will work on highways, local roadways, bike trails, and more, leading design efforts within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires a Colorado PE license, 5+ years of roadway design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on roadway design projects.
• Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design related software.

Responsibilities

• Design roadway system improvements and related transportation structures under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
• Prepare plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports.
• Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts.
• Oversee and mentor entry level staff.
