Ulteig is seeking a Lead Roadway Engineer for Colorado transportation projects, delivering design from concept through PS&E and construction support within multi-disciplinary teams. The role combines hands-on production with leadership, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with clients and project managers to meet project goals.

You will help drive standards, workflows, and innovation across the department, with room to expand into project management and business development.

Formación

• ABET-accredited civil engineering program required.
• PE license is required; Colorado licensure preferred or obtainable in reasonable time.
• 6–10+ years civil engineering experience, including 4–5+ years roadway design.
• Experience leading roadway design tasks and multi-discipline delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Lead roadway design execution for transportation projects with PMs and multi-discipline teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and review designs for quality.
• Support design workflows, tools, and delivery efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with clients to understand technical needs and propose feasible solutions.
• Apply engineering judgment to evaluate options and drive cost-effective solutions.
• Lead PS&E deliverables and ensure quality, completeness, and coordination.
• Contribute to design production, including modeling, plans, and quantities.
• Assist in project management tasks including scope and schedule coordination.
