Job summary

HNTB in Ohio is seeking a highly experienced engineer to lead design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans on diverse infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients and other disciplines to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires a degree in engineering with significant relevant experience, and may involve leading design efforts and guiding scope and budgets across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Assists with development of scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the discipline and mentors team.
• Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
