Job summary

Brentwood Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Maine is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee the Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing unit, leading two charge nurses and the nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care.

You will develop care plans, coordinate staffing and scheduling, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The role offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay, with a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Qualifications

Valid state RN nursing license.
Advanced degree or certification preferred.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance.
