Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Unit Care Coordinator to supervise and coordinate patient care on the unit, aligning with all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. You will work closely with patients, families, nursing staff, and other colleagues to provide compassionate, high‑quality care.

The role requires an RN license in good standing, a nursing diploma (associate or bachelor), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
Must hold an active RN license in good standing.
1 year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
CPR certification at hire or during orientation and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Direct the daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs, providing floor leadership.
Chart patient information accurately and timely.
Coordinate and manage patient care and services to support physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
Administer medications as ordered by a physician.
Respond to emergencies in a leadership capacity to ensure safety of patients and staff.
Coordinate patient care plans and services with interdisciplinary teams.
