Job summary

Ivory Plains Recovery Center in Kentucky is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to coordinate and supervise client care across units. The role ensures safe, efficient, and therapeutic care, with daily operation oversight when administrative staff are unavailable.

The position requires RN licensure, BSN preferred, and experience in behavioral health, plus supervisory responsibilities and staff scheduling. Onsite facility work is required and CPR/de-escalation training is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience as an RN required.
• One or more years’ experience in behavioral health required.

Responsibilities

• Provides, delegates, coordinates and evaluates care of client through the collaborative efforts of team members and in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.
• Performs rounds to all units to provide monitoring, supervision, direction, and assistance as needed.
• Schedules staff to ensure full coverage at all times and to ensure staffing is accurate according to established guidelines and unit needs.
• Administers medications and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Holds staff accountable for non-compliance and client safety concerns, as well as attendance, following policies.
