Kindred Hospital Dayton and Behavioral Health Unit is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the Nursing Department under the Chief Nursing Officer. You will supervise staff, implement nursing goals within budget, and ensure high-quality patient care in a 97-bed hospital with LTACH and BHU services.

The role requires 3–5 years of nursing experience in behavioral health and 1–2 years of supervisory leadership, with RN licensure and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred, RN licensure required.
• 3–5 years nursing experience in behavioral health.
• 1–2 years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Participates in hiring, training, supervision and evaluates designated nursing staff.
• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Supervises nursing services and ensures care is carried out and documented.
• Maintains patient health care records and ensures accuracy.
• Maintains supply inventory and orders equipment as needed.
• Promotes adherence to the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring performance.
