Job summary

The Laurels of Fulton, operated by Ciena Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts. You will oversee LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff to ensure high-quality, safe patient care and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include planning care, directing daily assignments, arranging replacements as needed, and evaluating staff performance. Current RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
