Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Clinical Unit Leader for Southside Medical Center in Petersburg. The Lead RN/Charge Nurse coordinates patient care on a designated unit, in collaboration with the Clinical Manager, to promote excellence in clinical practice and patient satisfaction.

The role requires RN licensure, BSN preferred, and 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in the unit's acuity level. You will guide staff, manage resources, and ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact (required).
• Experience: 2 years nursing with 1 year in acuity level of desired area (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care on a designated unit in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
• Oversees unit in the absence of the unit leader and guides staff.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and quality of care; communicates with patients and families.
