Job summary

Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Unit Manager to lead our long-term rehabilitation unit. You will oversee day-to-day operations, admissions, discharge planning, and coordination with families, physicians, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications include MA RN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, with strong EMR and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Massachusetts registration and CPR.
• At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience.
• Strong computer and EMR skills.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the long-term rehabilitation unit.
• Assist with admissions, participate in family meetings and discharge planning.
• Attend facility meetings and clinical risk/Medicare meetings.
• Audit new admission charts and ensure quality of care.
• Liaise between family, patient, doctors, and other departments.
• Manage staff assignments and on-call coverage as needed.
• Ensure safety and infection control within the unit.
