Job summary

Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care to patients, supervise nursing assistants, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care.

The role requires a nursing degree, MA RN license, and at least 1 year of skilled nursing facility experience. Strong communication and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved RN program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed nurse in a skilled nursing facility
• Current, unencumbered, active RN license in Massachusetts
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, regulations and guidelines for nursing facilities
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to relay patient condition information
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care on assigned units per standards and facility policies.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies to ensure safety.
• Complete admission, transfer, and discharge processes for seamless transitions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and incident reports.
• Educate and guide certified nursing assistants to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.
• Provide care appropriate to age-related needs of patients served
