Job summary

Bon Secours Harbor View Medical Center is seeking a Lead RN/Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care on a designated unit. You will work with the Clinical Manager to optimize staffing, clinical practice, and patient satisfaction while maintaining efficiency and resources.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license in the state or compact, and demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and strong communication with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license in state or compact (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in unit leadership and clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit with the Clinical Manager.
• Adjust schedules and patient assignments to acuity and resources.
• Provide staff guidance and oversee the unit in the absence of the leader.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and effective communication with patients and families.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff; participate in quality improvement.
