Job summary

Mercy’s Labor & Birth unit seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns. The RN will collaborate with obstetric teams in a faith-based, 24/7 environment and uphold Mercy's service standards.

The role requires an accredited nursing education, an active RN license (state or compact), BLS, and at least 2 years in charge/clinical coordination, with strong English communication and organizing abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years in charge/clinical coordinator setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Upholds patient rights and maintains confidentiality in line with standards.
