Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in Georgia to lead nursing care in a skilled facility. The RN will supervise CNAs, collaborate with the IDT, and ensure timely assessments while coordinating physician rounds and referrals when needed.

You will manage medical documentation, perform assessments, and deliver high-quality care within policy and standards, monitoring changes and reporting to providers as required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required - we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review.
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
