Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state is required.
• BSN preferred and BLS certification mandatory.
• Experience in behavioral health and leadership is expected.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Competence with EHR and clinical documentation systems.
• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills are essential.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for Behavioral Health units.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, trauma-informed patient care with strong outcomes.
• Direct staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization to meet demand.
• Coach and develop nursing staff; promote accountability and safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Lead quality improvement activities and regulatory readiness.
