Job summary

Southern Pain and Spine is seeking an experienced Lead Registered Nurse to coordinate daily clinical operations in our Ambulatory Surgery Center while remaining actively involved in patient care.

This full-time role in Atlanta offers $45-$48 per hour, a Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule with a half-day Friday, and opportunities to mentor staff, ensure high clinical standards, and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN required and active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily staffing coordination and clinical workflow management.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing and support staff.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide nursing care throughout the pre-operative, procedural, and recovery phases.
• Complete patient assessments, monitor treatment responses, and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document clinical findings and patient information accurately in the EHR.
• Promote compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and established protocols.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory initiatives.
• Supervise support personnel and reinforce facility standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education activities.
