Job summary

Alliance Spine and Pain Centers in Marietta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center team, performing pre-op assessments, OR circulation, PACU care and general post-operative support.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program with GA license, BLS, ACLS, and strong knowledge of patient education, safety, and HIPAA compliance. No weekends or on-call responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
Must have current GA nursing license, BLS, ACLS and other required training.
Knowledge of equipment, instrumentation and supplies required to perform specific responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Pre-Op Nurse duties: review charts, assess and educate prior to arrival; IV starts; narcotic log documentation.
OR Circulator duties: assist surgeon and tech; prepare OR; perform time outs and document times.
PACU duties: monitor recovery from moderate sedation; discharge education and follow-up information; document data.
General duties: ensure patient safety; HIPAA compliance; complete daily documentation; make pre-op and post-op calls; document in EMR.
