Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications and treatments, documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferencing in compliance with campus policies.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity from admission through discharge.
• Visit residents daily to observe status and notify the charge nurse/physician of changes.
• Identify resident problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures when needed.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, and charting.
