Job summary

Happen Bank seeks a Sr Manager, Risk Infrastructure to lead the Decision Systems team responsible for the design, build and maintenance of the decision infrastructure and data interfaces. You will partner with Credit Risk, Modeling, Engineering, Product and Business teams to drive automated decisioning and scalable architectures.

You will mentor and guide teams, oversee offshore contracting, and lead audits while delivering impactful results in a hybrid San Francisco environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in managing teams with complex technology programs in fintech or financial services.
• 8+ years of track record in rules engines like GDS Link, Provenir, Drools, Alloy, Blaze, Oscilar or equivalent technologies.
• Strong hands-on foundation with APIs, microservices, cloud patterns & tech strategy.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration to drive alignment and goals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments requiring problem-solving and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Transformation programs for Risk Infrastructure in partnership with Credit Risk, Modeling, Business, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and other teams.
• Oversee BAU policies and models on the Decision Infrastructure for the Personal Loan Portfolio.
• Develop deep expertise across Happen Bank's Products, technologies, and processes.
• Build partnerships with peer groups and leads in Credit Risk and Business teams for demand management and effective operation of Risk Infrastructure.
• Define the technology strategy and roadmap to achieve Future State architecture and scalable decisioning solutions.
• Apply AI responsibly to enhance lending platforms and automate processes.
