Eridan in Sunnyvale seeks a Lead RF Hardware Systems & Design Engineer to own system-level specifications, drive RF architecture, perform hands-on lab work, and align hardware, software and manufacturing across the product line.

This leader will mentor a small team of 2–3 systems engineers, translate customer requirements into rigorous deliverables, coordinate with software/firmware, and drive production-readiness for scalable 5G radio hardware.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years in RF systems engineering with leadership aspirations and desire to manage a small team
• End-to-end RF design experience (schematic to PCB) including transceiver architectures and power distribution analysis
• Proven track record delivering hardware lifecycle from prototype to production
• Translate customer requirements into rigorous engineering deliverables across hardware/software
• Strong communication and assertiveness in design reviews
• 5G radio hardware experience (O-RAN, small cell, macro)

Responsabilités

• Own architecture, integration, and verification for product scope; perform RF lab work
• Translate operational and customer requirements into rigorous engineering deliverables
• Manage and mentor a small team of systems engineers (2–3 direct reports)
• Drive hardware-software alignment and coordinate with Test/Operations on qualification activities
• Define standardized design protocols and ensure production readiness for external partners
