Eridan in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Manager of RF Hardware Systems Engineering to lead system-level and hardware design across radio product lines. You will stay hands-on with RF design while mentoring a small team of systems engineers.

This role requires strong experience in RF architectures, 5G, O-RAN, and cross-functional coordination to ensure production-ready designs and smooth collaboration with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in RF systems engineering with leadership aspirations.
• Hands-on RF design experience from schematic to PCB.
• Experience with 5G systems, O-RAN, small cell, or macro radio.
• Ability to translate requirements into rigorous engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, integration, and verification for your product scope; perform lab work and resolve cross-subsystem issues.
• Lead and mentor a small team of systems engineers (2–3 direct reports).
• Translate operational and customer requirements into engineering deliverables for hardware/software co‑development.
• Drive hardware‑software alignment and coordinate with testing and operations for qualification.
