Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a motivated, self-driven engineer to join the Ultra-Low-Power CMOS modeling team in GlobalFoundries Bangalore. The team develops compact (SPICE) models for FDSOI, FinFET and Bulk MOSFETs used in RF/MMW and other applications.

Strong MOSFET physics knowledge and experience with model extraction are highly valued. The candidate should have a PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering with focus on semiconductor physics, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• PhD/MS with emphasis on semiconductor physics or microelectronics.
• Strong MOSFET device physics knowledge; FDSOI/FinFET knowledge a plus.
• Experience with model extraction tools MBP/ICCAP beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leads SPICE model development for MOSFETs across technologies.
• Design characterization structures for compact model extraction.
• Develop compact models for FDSOI, FinFET and bulk RF/MMW apps.
• Deliver model-to-hardware correlation reports and KPIs.
• Mentor team members and collaborate across sites.
