Metrea is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to own the RF front-end for a cutting-edge ISAC DT&E platform. You will translate system requirements into producible RF hardware, spanning C-band to mmWave, including LNA/PA design, synthesis, and packaging.

You’ll work with antenna, digital, and test teams to deliver a coherent, high-performance front-end. You will lead end-to-end RF development, from trade studies and schematic capture through layout, fabrication, bring-up, and validation, while

Qualificações

• BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or closely related field.
• 10+ years designing RF hardware in radar/EW/communications contexts.
• End-to-end RF subsystems ownership from architecture to test.
• Expert RF cascade analysis and noise figure budgeting.
• Hands-on RF circuit simulation (ADS, MWO, MATLAB).
• RF PCB design with impedance control and multi‑layer stack-ups.

Responsabilidades

• Own the RF front-end architecture for the DT&E platform: topology, components, interfaces.
• Design modular receive/transmit signal chains (LNAs, PAs, switching, filtering, synthesis).
• Develop LO distribution to maintain phase coherence across multi-element systems.
• Coordinate with antenna engineer to match networks and thermal/spacing constraints.
• Lead RF PCB design end-to-end: stack-up, impedance, co-simulation, packaging.
• Collaborate with FPGA/DSP teams on analog/digital interface and timing.
• Define RF test/calibration procedures for platform-level verification.
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers; contribute to proposals.
