Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. seeks an Analog RF Engineer to design, develop, and test analog RF front ends and mixed-signal circuits for high-speed applications. You will work on RF shielding, low-noise power supplies, and clock distribution on multi-gigahertz substrates.

You will collaborate with FPGA and software teams, use SPICE for validation, and ensure robust, manufacturable designs that meet stringent aerospace/defense standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of analog circuit design experience with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Fluency in Mentor Graphics Xpedition DxDesigner strongly desired.
• Experience with Xilinx RFSoC components a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design analog circuits using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with PCB layout designers to optimize signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Utilize SPICE to model circuit behavior across conditions and ensure performance.
• Test, verify, and characterize analog circuits to meet reliability specs.
• Design RF front-end components and power supplies with low noise characteristics.
• Coordinate with FPGA/software teams for seamless integration.
