Job summary

Metrea is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and debugging of advanced RF systems. You will guide projects from prototype through full production and mentor junior engineers to uphold high design standards.

The role requires deep RF expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a hands-on approach to product development in a fast‑paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of RF hardware development experience.
• Strong grasp of RF receivers, power amplifiers and antenna design concepts.
• Experience with RF circuit design tools and schematic capture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low SWaP transceivers, receivers, and power amplifiers for military RF systems.
• Collaborate with RF and Digital engineers to resolve RF challenges.
• Lead prototypes to full-rate production and drive design reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Improve design efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
• Participate in and lead design reviews with cross-functional teams.
