Vail Resorts in Denver area is hiring for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 roles including Retail Supervisor, Cooks, Drivers, Instructors and more. Beginning wages range from $23.00/hr to $26.88/hr, with housing available and strong benefits for employees such as free ski passes, family lift discounts, and robust training.

Seasonal positions offer full-time hours with opportunities to grow through Epic Service training and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two of the following: retail sales experience, strong customer service skills, ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilités

• Generate sales and deliver professional guest service.
• Open and close the store as assigned.
• Analyze sales trends and implement growth strategies.
• Manage inventory for retail and rental, meet goals.
• Enforce cash handling and loss prevention policies.

Job Summary

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. Acts as store department lead and helps ensure the department had appropriate inventory levels.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $23.00/hr – $26.88/hr.
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.
• Shift Type: Full Time hours available.
• Minimum Age: 18 years of age.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate sales and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service.
• Responsible for opening and closing store.
• Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth.
• Manage retail and rental inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals.
• Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures and other loss prevention policies.
• Manage sales floor team and rental process.
• Act as a mentor who can train and lead a sales team with effective communication.
• Provide great customer service to all guests.
• Ensure pricing is accurate and current including any and all promotions.
• Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience – required.
• Previous snow sport industry experience – preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently with co‑workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English – required.
• Ability to maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends – required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay Range

Expected pay range is $23.00/hr – $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
