Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can step into a lead role in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. You will help set and maintain plan-o-grams, provide exemplary customer service, and protect company assets while supporting teamwork and profitability.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and merchandising, operating the register, greeting customers, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math and make change accurately.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with plan-o-gram guidance and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on the floor.
• Operate cash register and assist customers at checkout.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized store and displays.
• Greet customers and provide superior service leadership.
• In absence of store leadership, sign refunds and oversee cashier processes.
