Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician Level 3 to ensure safe, efficient operation of restaurant facilities. You will lead maintenance projects, troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep all equipment running at peak performance.

Responsibilities include repairs on refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen appliances; reading schematics; training junior technicians; and maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Mandatory HVAC/R or refrigeration certifications; electrical/plumbing credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced repairs on restaurant equipment including refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen appliances.
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Lead maintenance projects involving construction, installation, or upgrades of mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC/R systems and refrigeration units to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Help train junior technicians and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used.
