McDonald's in Modesto market is seeking a Lead Market Maintenance Technician to maintain cleanliness, safety, appearance and function across multiple locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, and support operations with capital improvements.

The role requires urgency, safety-first mindset, and teamwork. Company vehicle, tools, and training are provided to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities management, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields preferred; certifications preferable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of restaurant facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, ice machines, HVAC units, lighting, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Complete facility repairs as needed, including tile, painting, light electrical, and plumbing.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for major repairs, keeping service timely and cost-effective.
• Maintain restaurant grounds, parking lots, exterior signage, and landscaping.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules on grills, fryers, beverage systems, and other restaurant equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours service calls.
• Maintain accurate repair records and service documentation.
• Assist restaurant management in identifying maintenance priorities and capital improvement needs.
• Travel to assigned McDonald's restaurants within the Modesto market in a company-provided vehicle.
• Support General Managers, Supervisors, and the Director of Operations with larger improvement projects.
