Job summary

Medical City Dallas (an HCA Healthcare facility) seeks a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to maintain clinical expertise and supervise staff and students in the clinical setting. The role covers neonates to adolescents, with occasional adult patients, requiring strong judgment within care plans and licensure acts.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Credentialed CRT or RRT by NBRC
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Current BLS provider by AHA or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Supervise staff and students in the clinical setting
• Care for neonates through adolescents with occasional adults
• Exercise judgment within the medical plan of care and department policies
• Perform CPR and respond to emergent respiratory situations
• Apply respiratory therapeutics and diagnostic assessment knowledge
